Mum and daughter outing together

Today I went to Lydiard Park with my eldest girl. It was lovely. The cygnets that I photographed a few weeks back have grown SO much. They are showing some white now amongst the grey, and are nearly as big as their parents.

Art in Action at Waterperry

Yesterday we went to the Art in Action Exhibition at Waterperry, Oxford. First time I've ever been to a big exhibition and really enjoyed it. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a lot, well nothing really on knitting, but the day was hugely enjoyable. We will definitely go next week go next year, and we'rethinking of taking the caravan and camping so we can do the three days, and maybe book in for a course or two :-) Here's some pics I took while there.

Using up some surplus bread

Bread and Butter Pudding. Yum!!

Jazz evening at Dyrham park

Saturday evening myself, hubby and eldest girl went to Dyrham Park and enjoyed a couple of hours of some jazz on the lawn. It was debatable as to whether it would be a dry jazz on the lawn as the weather over the previous day or two, and indeed most of Saturday was stormy to say the least. The most thunder and lightening I can remember for a long time!!! But, the rain decided to go away, and the sun decided to come and play :-) and it was a delightfully warm and pleasant evening :-)
